About Claire
HI, I’m Claire. My work is rooted in a lifelong connection with movement, nature and the body’s own ability to heal when given the right support. I specialise in myofascial release and am based in Milnathort, near Kinross in Perthshire.
Before settling in Scotland, I spent many years travelling and working in physically demanding environments. I worked internationally as a lifeguard, SCUBA instructor, Divemaster, and boat captain, experiences that gave me a deep understanding of how the body responds to stress, repetition, injury, and recovery. These years also shaped my appreciation for mindful movement and the importance of caring for both physical and emotional wellbeing.
In early 2015, I completed my first yoga teacher training in Mexico, which marked a turning point in my life. Yoga became not just a practice, but a way of listening more deeply to the body. Later that same year, I qualified as a massage therapist in London, combining therapeutic touch with mindful awareness to support people living with pain, tension, and stress.
While living in the Caribbean, I founded Little Island Yoga on the remote island of Little Cayman in the Cayman Islands, where I taught yoga and offered bodywork to a diverse community. This experience strengthened my belief that healing is most effective when it is compassionate, adaptable, and tailored to the individual.
After returning to Scotland during the COVID-19 pandemic, I continued to expand my skills, training in myofascial release, tai chi, qi gong, and other holistic movement and bodywork practices. My work now focuses particularly on supporting people with chronic pain, restricted movement, and long-term conditions, helping them reconnect with their bodies safely and gently.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel at ease in their body, and my aim is always the same: to offer a space where you feel listened to, supported, and empowered on your own journey towards becoming naturally balanced.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial is a gentle hands-on bodywork technique that has been developed by medical doctors, osteopaths, physiotherapists and massage therapists since the 1940s. It works to relieve pain, improve mobility and enhance muscle function. It is particularly beneficial for people with chronic pain, muscle stiffness or limited range of motion, as it helps to restore flexibility and proper postural alignment. Myofascial release benefits clients with the most sensitive chronic pain conditions as well as those with deep tissue restrictions caused by injury and overuse.
Yoga
Yoga is so much more than physical poses. It is an entire philosophy that gives us tools to live more consciously and peacefully within ourselves – and you don’t need to be flexible to do it!
Yoga helps us to establish a more intimate relationship with ourselves by training us to embrace each moment exactly as it is without judgement or expectation. It’s not about being the best, but about doing our best.
